주님, 당신은 대대로 저희 안식처가 되셨나이다.
산들이 솟기 전에, 땅이며 누리가 생기기 전에, 영원에서 영원까지 당신은 하느님이시옵니다.
인간을 먼지로 돌아가게 하시며 당신은 말씀하시나이다. “사람들아, 돌아가라.” 천 년도 당신 눈에는, 지나간 어제 같고, 한 토막 밤과도 같사옵니다.
당신이 그들을 쓸어 내시니, 그들은 아침에 든 선잠 같고, 사라져 가는 풀과 같사옵니다. 아침에 돋아나 푸르렀다가, 저녁에 시들어 말라 버리나이다.
저희 날수를 헤아리도록 가르치소서. 저희 마음이 슬기를 얻으리이다. 돌아오소서, 주님, 언제까지리이까? 당신 종들에게 자비를 베푸소서.
