† 우리에게 주어진 시간
지금 우리에게 주어진 시간은 회개를 위한 시간이고, 회개와 자비는 동전의 양면과도 같습니다. 회개는 하느님의 자비를 바탕으로 하고, 그분의 자비는 우리에게 회개의 가능성을 열어 줍니다. 이 시간은 나에게만 주어지는 것이 아니라 다른 사람들에게도 주어집니다. 그러기에 하느님과 이웃 안에서 자비를 실천하고 용서를 체험할 수 있는 시간이기도 합니다.

마태 13,27-30
종들이 집주인에게 가서, ‘주인님, 밭에 좋은 씨를 뿌리지 않았습니까? 그런데 가라지는 어디서 생겼습니까?’ 하고 묻자, ‘원수가 그렇게 하였구나.’ 하고 집주인이 말하였다. 종들이 ‘그러면 저희가 가서 그것들을 거두어 낼까요?’ 하고 묻자, 그는 이렇게 일렀다.
‘아니다. 너희가 가라지들을 거두어 내다가 밀까지 함께 뽑을지도 모른다. 수확 때까지 둘 다 함께 자라도록 내버려 두어라. 수확 때에 내가 일꾼들에게, 먼저 가라지를 거두어서 단으로 묶어 태워 버리고 밀은 내 곳간으로 모아들이라고 하겠다.’

The slaves of the householder came to him and said, ‘Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? Where have the weeds come from?’
He answered, ‘An enemy has done this.’ His slaves said to him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’
He replied, ‘No, if you pull up the weeds you might uproot the wheat along with them. Let them grow together until harvest; then at harvest time I will say to the harvesters,
“First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles for burning; but gather the wheat into my barn."

Les serviteurs du maître vinrent lui dire :
“Seigneur, n’est-ce pas du bon grain que tu as semé dans ton champ? D’où vient donc qu’il y a de l’ivraie?”
Il leur dit :
“C’est un ennemi qui a fait cela.” Les serviteurs lui disent : “Veux-tu donc que nous allions l’enlever?”
Il répond :
“Non, en enlevant l’ivraie, vous risquez d’arracher le blé en même temps. Laissez-les pousser ensemble jusqu’à la moisson ; et, au temps de la moisson, je dirai aux moissonneurs : Enlevez d’abord l’ivraie, liez-la en bottes pour la brûler ; quant au blé, ramassez-le pour le rentrer dans mon grenier.”
